Netflix has shared the video of date announcement of upcoming comedy drama series “Call My Agent: Bollywood” on Thursday, 26 August 2021. Call My Agent was originally made of French television show which is based on Paris top talent Firm ASK Talent management agency in Paris. This show isn’t about the actors who feature on some of the biggest cinemas but the men and women who handle their career, keep them out of trouble.

The Indian version of Call My Agent series will be focuses on four agents Rajat Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Aahana Kumra and Ayush Mehra of four high-profile Bollywood celebrities, the comedy drama will share the behind the scenes stories of celebrities and madness which keeps the system running. Every episode will follow an e exaggerated version of a real-life celebrity.

According to the Sameer Nair from Applause Entertainment, “After bringing American, British and Israeli formats to India, this series marks our first French format acquisition. ‘Call My Agent’, is a witty and wicked tale that will take our film loving audiences on an enthralling, comic and exciting journey into the lives of their favourite Bollywood stars. Abbas and Hussain have done a delightful adaptation and in Shaad we have found the right partner to bring this show alive with a vibrant team of actors.

This Indian remake of Call My Agent series is directed by Shaad Ali and written by Abbas and Hussain Dalal. This new season is produced by Applause Entertainment with Banijay Asia. Director Shaad said that “I have been a consumer of premium drama series and always been keen to explore it as a director. We have put together a great team of writers and crew for this project. I’m sure that our audiences will love a show like this.”
