Paramount Pictures has dropped the official trailer of upcoming drama series “Mayor of Kingstown” on Wednesday, 1 September 2021. The original drama show Mayor of Kingstown is starring Jeremy Renner and Kyle Chandler, who are playing the role of McClusky Brothers in the city where incarceration is only thriving industry. This show will follow the themes of Corruption, Racism and inequality and provides the look of main leads took an attempt to bring order and justice in lawless city Kingstown.
The official synopsis of Mayor of Kingstown is set on a small town of Michigan where the only industries remaining are federal, state and private prisons. The story follows the McClusky Family, the power brokers between the police, criminals, inmates, prison guards and politicians in a city. Whole city is completely dependent on the prisons and the prisoners they contain.
This original drama series is co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon. Director Sheridan is well-known for the excellent scripts in “Sicario and High Water”. In the interview of Jeremy Renner, he said that, “I like exploring and even supporting that idea of them having a moral compass. Not all actions are perfect, right? We’re all flawed. But, if it still comes from a strong base that’s unflappable, there’s something beautiful about that. Mike possesses those things.”
