Netflix has dropped official trailer of dark suspenseful thriller series “The Chestnut man” on Monday, 13 September 2021. The Chestnut man Netflix series follows two detectives who were on a hunt for a serial killer who leaves chestnut over dead body after killing the people. This series is based on the Novel “The Killing” by Søren Sveistrup which features stars Danica Curcic (The Mist) and Mikkel Boe Følsgaard (The Rain).
The official synopsis of the chestnut man is follows two detectives Young Naia Thulin and her new partner Mark Hess, who trying to uncover the mysterious killing happening in quiet suburb of Copenhagen. They found young women body which is brutally killed and near by a small doll made by chestnut found. After that the two stumble upon a piece of evidence which links with missing daughter of politician name Rosa Hartung, who had been ,missing from one year and presumed to be dead.
This Netflix series is created by Søren Sveistrup, Dorte W. Høgh, David Sandreuter and Mikkel Serup. The crime mystery thriller is based on the debut novel by award-winning writer Søren Sveistrup, which has been translated into 28 languages and published in 50 countries. Sveistrup is the same brilliant mind behind ‘The Killing,’ a Danish police procedural drama.
The Danish Netflix series “The Chestnut Man” is set to be premiere on 29 September 2021 in Netflix streaming platform. According to the Netflix, “At a grisly murder scene sits a figurine made of chestnuts.
