Vinterviken (JJ+E) trailer review

Netflix shared the new romantic drama movie Vinterviken 2021 (JJ+E) official trailer on Wednesday, 11 Aug 2021. This Swedish film is based on Mats Wahl’s acclaimed novel “Vinterviken” which is also used in 1996 film with same name. A high school romantic drama into social inequalities and prejudice with teen love story between Elisabeth played by Elsa Öhrn and John-John played by Mustapha Aarab.

The brief plot of Vinterviken 2021 movie is that the romantic drama film is set in Stockholm in the year 2021 and follows the story two youngsters Elisabeth and John-John grew up in the same city, but they are divided by economically, socially and culturally separated. That is, the day when they start in the same high school class.

The film is directed by Alexis Almström and written by Dunja Vujovic with team of Filmlance International. Director Alexis also directed “Top Dog” TV Series in 2020 based on Jens lapidus Trilogy. Lina Brouneus saying that “We thrilled to be able to bring a contemporary version of this modern Swedish classic novel to a global audience and we believe that the universal themes of love, class differences and segregation will resonate with our audiences all over the world”.

Vinterviken (JJ+E) will be premiere on 8 September 2021 in Netflix streaming platform. The new romanctic story of about two young lovers who breaking class barriers with the global Netflix audience. Check out the trailer of JJ+E movie:-

The Star Cast of Vinterviken (JJ+E) movie will be Elsa Öhrn as Elisabeth, who is making her acting debut with this film; John-John also a newcomer who play Mustapha Aarab. The other members of film Magnus Krepper, Albin Grenholm, Otto Hargne, Loreen, Marika Lagercrantz, Simon Mezher, Jonay Pineda Skallak and Elsa Bergström Terent.
